Question 1

What is ToetsJeKennis.nl?

Accepted Answer

ToetsJeKennis.nl is an online practice platform for professional exams, such as Wft, SVPB, BOA, VCA, Sociale Hygiëne, HACCP and vaarbewijs. You practise with exams that are structured like the real exam and based on the official exam criteria. You get an explanation with every question, and with the AI tutor you can immediately ask further questions if something is not clear.

Question 2

Do the practice exams match the official exam?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We structure the practice exams according to the official exam criteria and the structure of the examination body, such as the number of questions, the question types, the time and the pass mark. Every week we check laws, documents and news from the examination bodies. If something changes, we adjust the questions.

Question 3

Are these the real exam questions?

Accepted Answer

No. The exam questions of the official exam are secret. Our questions are made based on the official exam criteria and match the level and format of the exam. This way you practise exactly the material you need to master.

Question 4

Do I get a diploma or certificate from you?

Accepted Answer

No. You get the official exam and the diploma from the examination body, for example the CDFD, the SVPB or the SVH. With us you prepare for it. On the page of each training course you can read how the official exam works and where to register.

Question 5

Can I also practise for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is a free practice exam for many training courses. You enter your first name and email address and receive a login link. With this you take the free test in your own account and immediately see which subjects you are losing points on.

Question 6

Are you available by phone?

Accepted Answer

No. Our helpdesk can only be reached by email, via the contact form. The quickest way to ask questions about the material is to ask the AI tutor in your account, who is always available.

Question 7

How do I contact the helpdesk?

Accepted Answer

Send your question via the contact form. Your message will reach our helpdesk and you'll receive a reply at the email address you provide. You'll usually get a quick response. Please also check your spam folder.

Question 8

Can I practise on my phone or tablet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ToetsJeKennis works in the browser on your computer, tablet and phone. You don't need to install anything. If you stop halfway through a test, you can continue where you left off later, even on another device.

Question 9

How do I start a practice exam?

Accepted Answer

Log in and open your dashboard. Choose the training and click on the test you want to take. You then choose whether you want to work in practice mode or exam mode.

Question 10

What is the difference between practice mode and exam mode?

Accepted Answer

In practice mode, you check each question immediately and see the explanation straight away. In exam mode, you take the test just like the real exam: with a time limit and the results only when you have submitted everything. Start by practising and finish with a few tests in exam mode.

Question 11

Do I get explanations for the answers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For each question, after checking, you'll see why the correct answer is right and why your answer was wrong. Where possible, this explanation refers to the law or the official source. If you want to know more, you can ask the AI tutor immediately.

Question 12

How do I know if I'm ready for the exam?

Accepted Answer

After each test, you'll see your score and an analysis of the topics where you went wrong. On your dashboard, you can see your score progress per training and how close you are to being exam-ready. If you consistently pass well above the pass mark in exam mode, you are well prepared.

Question 13

What does the analysis after a test mean?

Accepted Answer

We look at which topics and test terms you make mistakes in, across all your tests. This way, you can see at a glance what you have already mastered and what you still need to work on. Questions you skipped do not count.

Question 14

Can I retake a test?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as often as you like as long as you have access. Every attempt is recorded in your results, so you can see if you are improving.

Question 15

I stop halfway through a test. Is my work lost?

Accepted Answer

No. Your answers are saved automatically. If you open the test again later, you choose whether you want to continue or start again. This also works on another device.

Question 16

Some questions refer to an appendix. Where can I find it?

Accepted Answer

If a question contains an appendix or appendix document, click on that word in the text. The appendix will then slide into view on the right, so you can see the question and the appendix side by side.

Question 17

I think a question or answer is incorrect. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Tell the AI tutor while you are on that question. The AI will look at it with you and pass the question on if something really seems to be wrong. We will then investigate it using the official sources and adjust the question if necessary. You don't need to send an email for this.

Question 18

What are bonus tests?

Accepted Answer

In some training courses, extra tests are locked. You unlock them by writing a review about ToetsJeKennis. You can see how this works in the list of tests.

Question 19

How does the AI tutor work?

Accepted Answer

In your account, open the AI tutor on the right. It knows which page you are on, for example your results, a lesson or a question, and answers your questions about the material. Where necessary, the AI searches the laws and official sources that belong to your training. This way you get an immediate explanation, even in the evenings and at weekends.

Question 20

Can I have contact with a real teacher or trainer?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not have contact with a human teacher or trainer. Instead, you ask your questions to the AI tutor. It is always available, explains the material at your level and refers to the sources. If you think something is wrong in a question, tell the AI tutor. It will pass the question on to us.

Question 21

Can the AI tutor give me the answers during an exam?

Accepted Answer

No. During a test in exam mode, the AI tutor does not give answers or explanations for the questions in that test. This keeps your score fair. After submitting, you can ask anything about any question.

Question 22

What are AI credits?

Accepted Answer

With AI credits, you can ask the AI tutor questions and have extra exams put together with new questions, specially made for you based on your weak points. A question costs 10 AI credits, an extra exam 50. With your training, you get 100 AI credits every month: enough for 10 questions, 2 extra exams or a combination. If you run out of credits, you can buy extra credits in your account. They never expire.

Question 23

How do I see how many AI credits I have left?

Accepted Answer

Your AI credits are in your account. There you can also see what you have used and you can buy extra credits directly.

Question 24

Can I use the AI tutor with a free account?

Accepted Answer

With a free account, you can ask the AI tutor one question, so you can see how it works. You can always read the explanations for the questions in your free test. If you want to ask more questions, you can order the training.

Question 25

Is the AI tutor always right?

Accepted Answer

The AI tutor bases its explanation on the laws and official sources of your training and mentions the source where possible. However, an AI can make mistakes. If you are in doubt, check the source mentioned or tell the AI tutor, and we will look into it. You can use the thumbs to indicate whether an answer helped you.

Question 26

How do I log in?

Accepted Answer

Click on Login at the top right. You log in with your email address and password, or you can have a login link sent to your email. With that link, you are in with one click.

Question 27

I can't log in. What now?

Accepted Answer

Check if your email address is spelled correctly and if Caps Lock is off. If it doesn't work, choose a login link by email on the login page. Also check your spam folder. If you still can't figure it out, send us a message via the contact form.

Question 28

I have done a free practice exam. Do I have an account now?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An account has been created for you with your first name and email address. In it, you can see your free test and your analysis. If you later order a training with the same email address, it will be added to the same account.

Question 29

In which languages can I use ToetsJeKennis?

Accepted Answer

You can use the environment in your account in multiple languages. You choose the language with the flag at the top. You can also ask the AI tutor questions in your own language. The exam questions themselves are in Dutch, just like the official exam.

Question 30

What happens to my data?

Accepted Answer

We only use your data to manage your account, your orders and your invoices. A free account with which you order nothing and on which you do not log in for 12 months will be deleted automatically. You can read more in our privacy statement.
