What the VCA VOL exam looks like
The VCA VOL exam is the safety exam for operational supervisors and for self-employed workers who work as subcontractors for a VCA-certified company. You answer 60 closed questions in 60 minutes and pass with 64.5%. You take it digitally at an exam centre recognised by the Stichting Samenwerken Voor Veiligheid (SSVV), every day and all over the country.
The exam is taken digitally on a computer, laptop or tablet. An oral exam or having the questions read aloud is not available for VOL-VCA. All questions are closed: multiple choice, multiple response with more than one correct answer, matrix and matching. The language level is B1 (2F) and you can choose Dutch, English, German or French.
