Submit a trademark complaint
ToetsJeKennis creates all its practice exams, exam questions and course material itself. There are no external trainers who place content on our website. Everything you see on ToetsJeKennis therefore falls under our own responsibility.
In our training courses we sometimes mention names of exams, exam organisations or diplomas. We only do this to indicate which exam a training course prepares you for. It does not mean that we are affiliated with those organisations or that they have created or approved our training courses, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Do you think we are using your trademark incorrectly?
Are you the owner of a trademark, or are you authorised to act on behalf of the trademark owner, and do you think we are using that trademark in an unauthorised way? Then send us a report via the contact form with:
- your name, email address and telephone number and, if you are acting on behalf of someone, the name of the trademark owner and your relationship with the trademark owner;
- the trademark (word, logo or other sign) to which you have rights;
- the basis for your rights, for example a Benelux or EU trademark registration, with the registration number;
- the goods or services for which the trademark is registered;
- where you believe the trademark is being used on our website (the link to the page or training course);
- why you think this use is not permitted;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not permitted and that the information in your report is correct.
We will review your report and let you know via the provided email address what we will do with it. If the report turns out to be justified, we will adjust the content or take it offline.
Good to know
Trademark law does not prohibit you from mentioning a trademark to say what something is about or what it is intended for, as long as this is done fairly and does not give the impression that there is a connection with the trademark owner. Mentioning the name of an exam to indicate that a training course prepares for it is therefore generally permitted.
A report of trademark infringement is a serious matter. Anyone who deliberately makes a misleading or false report can be held liable for the damage caused as a result.
